Medic rezident Elvetia/Austria
Hei !! Exista vreun rezident in Elvetia sau Austria pe aici si imi poate oferi mai multe detalii ? De preferat pe o specialitate chirurgicala

de ce vrei una din tarile alea si nu germania unde e incomparabil mai usor de ajuns?
Sunt cel mai pașnic om din lume. Dorințele mele sunt: o căsuță modestă, un pat bun si o gradina cu pomi. Iar dacă Domnul Dumnezeu ar vrea să mă facă într-adevăr fericit, as vedea spânzurați în acești pomi șase sau șapte din dușmanii mei...

Maybe you've already found your answer but anyway i did general surgery in switzerland, in french part, i didn't stay that long because their residency is too long mostly in surgical specialities, minimum 7/8 years even more, i had a collegue who was in her 9th year of rezi. You need to fill a notebook with a certain number of surgery you must do alone or assisted... and it takes some times. If the length of residency isn't a problem for you so yeah you should apply in some "small" hospital for 1 or 2 years and then rotation to a bigger hospital or university hospital. it's a bit easier to find a seat in general surgery than others specialities.
